Children & Youth

Our ministries to our younger people are run with the constant hope that our next generations can be raised with a firm and growing faith in Jesus Christ. As God does his amazing work in our hearts and in the hearts of the children, for our part we strive to offer love and consistency in a safe environment.

Nursery (Infant – Pre-K)

On Sundays, we offer childcare and a nursery program during the 10:00am service. The program is run by our experienced caregivers. As another option, we have a Crèche Corner in the Bonis room upstairs where parents can be with their children and still see and hear the service.

Kids Connect (Kindergarten To Grade 6)

On Sundays during the 10:00am service, our children begin in church with their parents. Near the beginning of the service the children are invited forward for a short story, song or prayer. At this time they go downstairs with their teachers for their Bible lesson which will be one of the passages in the service. There will be stories, songs, crafts and other age appropriate activities to help the children understand the scripture. The children will come back upstairs to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist around the altar. After they have received the elements they will go back down to finish their activities.

Youth Connect (Grade 7 to Grade 12)

On Sundays during the 10:00am service, our youth gather in the South Transept and participate in the worship service. They are provided with an activity sheet to help them better engage with the liturgy and the sermon. After they have received communion they are invited downstairs for more in depth discussion of the service and any questions they may have. Our discussion will continue until 12:15.

Friday Night Youth Group

On certain Friday nights, the youth gather in a more social setting to hang out and enjoy a variety of activities.

Kids Summer Camp

For one week in the summer we run a day camp. This year it will be July 16-20. Camp involves stories, exploration, crafts, songs, games, friends and food. Registration begins on April 1 and will be on a first come first served basis, so register early as space is limited. If finances are an issue, please let us know as we have some avenues to help.
