We are certainly living in extraordinary times when we are being challenged in all areas of our lives. But in the midst of uncertainty and anxiety I keep hearing stories of creativity, care, compassion and courage!
It is important in these days to maintain some sort of schedule and structure to our days, particularly the school/work week. I am finding this very true for myself too and am trying to get back to my schedule of which church I work for on which days.
Last week, despite some technical challenges, the story time went really well. I was asked to do it twice a week, so, as Tuesday and Friday are my Agincourt days, I will do stories on both days. Skype proved a little problematic so we will move to ZOOM.
We will start on Friday as today is short notice. On Friday at 4 pm click on this link and you will join the meeting. If you don't have the ZOOM app yet, you will be instructed to get it and join in. https://us04web.zoom.us/j/946195695
Meeting ID: 946 195 695
Each week I will post the story time ZOOM link in this blog.
Our Youth Skype visits on Friday nights have continued and this Friday at 7pm we will be having a Netflix Party and watching Jumanji together. To participate in the Netflix Party you need a computer and Google Chrome. Go to https://www.netflixparty.com/ and download the Netflix party. When you do so you will find a NP beside your address bar. At 6:55 pm on Friday, April 3 I will send all of you and email with a URL link that you will need to click on to join our viewing party. The Netflix Party can only be viewed on a computer and through Google Chrome.
The Big Blue Chair is where I am doing much of my work these days and where I sit when I read the stories.
If you have any difficulties with the technology, or any other concerns, please get in touch - I do love hearing from you and how you are coping these days!
Peace & Joy,
Pastor Elaine
