HARVEST THANKSGIVING

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Healing Prayer & Anointing this Sunday @ 10 am!  Come forward after communion for a time of confidential healing prayer with one of our prayer partners. Have you been feeling overwhelmed, sick, or need to reconcile with someone?  Prayer can help. Let’s face it, we could all use a little extra prayer in our lives.

  • Food Bank Collection: Please bring your non-perishable food items with you to our Harvest Thanksgiving Service.  Our young people will carry them up to the altar during the Offertory Hymn for a blessing.  Following the service, they will be shipped to our local food bank. Thank you for sharing from your abundance.

  • Be Warm for Thanksgiving! There’s a chill to the air now, and we are all turning on our heat at home.  While we will have a source of temporary heat this weekend, it may still be a bit chilly in the church- so please dress in layers and be comfortable.

  • Alpha continues to meet for dinner, talk & discussion on Tuesday, October 15th @ 6:30!  Our Alpha Day Away is coming up!  Please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26th from 9 am to 3:30 pm to introduce and welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives!

  • Thank you Alpha Sponsors!  A special thank you to all who blessed the Guests of the Alpha Program with monetary donations for weekly meals.  We had many contributors, but some have asked to remain anonymous.  Our gracious thanks to: Peggy Perkins, Susan Frederick, Barbara Broadbent, Freida Innes, Bob Saunders, Diane Lucyk and John Day.  May God bless you all abundantly!

  • Happy 40th Anniversary!  A very special blessing to Brenda & Michael Williams on the celebration of their anniversary this coming Sunday, October 13th!  May God continue to bless and nurture your love for him and for one another.

  • All Souls sign-up sheets are available starting this Sunday, October 13th. Please select either the 8 am or 10 am service to list the name (or names) of your deceased loved ones.  Please print legibly. The deadline is November 6th so that the lists can be prepared for the November 10th All Souls & Remembrance Service.
