ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • PLEASE NOTE!  OUR YOUTUBE LIVEFEED WILL BE SUSPENDED THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5TH as we will be outside worshiping in nature!  Our YouTube live streaming will resume on Thanksgiving Sunday.

  • TOONIES FOR TURKEYS! This is the final week to demonstrate your gratitude for God’s many blessings by donating one or two Toonies so that we can provide delicious turkeys for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter at our Hot Lunch.  The Toonie Jar will be in the narthex this coming Sunday, October 5th!

  • WALKATHON: We are thrilled to inform you that we have received several more pledges for the Walk-A-Thon this past week, bring our total not to the original amount: $5,445.00- but to $8840.00!  We give thanks to God for His faithfulness and goodness to us!  Bless all who donated to this year’s Corporation Walk-A-Thon!

  • SENIOR’S ADVISORY COMMMITTEE:  On September 23rd, parishioners and guests gathered for fellowship, a light lunch, and a very informative, lively and fun presentation on healthy eating.
    Alissa Steinberg, RD, CCDE, MHSc, led us through her participatory Healthy U Nutrition Workshop, focusing on eating for a healthy life. For those  interested, Alissa has very kindly shared with us her entire 73 slide presentation. Please see Rev. Kathy if you are interested in any of the information Alissa presented. Your Seniors Advocacy Committee (Monica, Susan, Irene, Kathy) enjoyed organizing this event and we look forward tom planning the next one.                  - Rev. Kathy

  • OUTREACH HANDPRINTS: The Outreach Committee is in the midst of redecorating the Outreach Bulletin Board, and we need your help!  Please meet us after worship to share your handprint (traced on card paper) in order to help us decorate the board.  We all know that many hands make light work- and you’ve contributed a great deal!
